Course Statistic

Over Competitions/Print…/Course Statistic PC CADDIE is counting the number of eagles, birdies, pars, bogeys and double-bogeys for each hole. PC CADDIE is also counting the average net and gross strokes on the holes and identifies with this the level of difficulty per hole.

By clicking on this menu, first select a tournament and confirm with OK:

  • The handicap categories are according the EGA handicap system, but you can alter them accordingly.
  • It makes sense, that the handicap strokes for the first 9 holes or the last 9 holes will be entered separately. Because of that please select the option first 9 holes with odd stroke index…. This means that you allocate the odd numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 on the first 9 holes and on the last 9 holes the even numbers. F.e. the most difficult hole on the course is hole 15, this hole will get a stroke index of 2.
    It is quite important, to allocate the stroke index like this, so that 9 hole tounaments will be managed correctly.
  • Start with the printout by clicking Print (F8):

The calculated level of difficulty you will find in the column „Bew.“ (= Bewertung). In single tournaments it can happen that the evaluation is identical with some other holes, see hole 10, 14 and 15. The reason for that is the same realtion of par and persentaged number of strokes, in this case 5,11 to par 4 and 6,11 to par 5.

In comparison you will find in the next column „HCP“ the current stroke index. Additional you get a statistic printout of participants in the handicap categories. The statistic can be limited to several persons groups, to get a printout of f.e. professionals.

This function is only calculating this selected tournament. For a statistic with more tournaments or for the whole year please use Yearly course statistic.
