Round statistics

Since the introduction of the World Handicap System (WHS), the scoring records have been calculated by the golf associations. In Switzerland, the handicap history sheet from SwissGolf is loaded into the local PC CADDIE, so an evaluation can also be made here.
This is not possible in most countries, as the associations do not make the handicap history sheets available for loading into PC CADDIE.

With the function Handicaps/Print…/Round statistics you can print round statistics for your members (based on the master sheet).

Among other things, you can see how many rounds a player has played, broken down into rounds on your own course and external courses, as well as under- or over-play and HCP confirmations.

Enter all the details according to your requirements and print the list with Print (F8):

Here you can see an example of lap statistics

The most important columns for the statistics are explained below:

  1. Fixed = Number of fixed scores entered in the master sheet in the analysed period.
  2. Rounds = Total number of handicap-effective results; rounds achieved away from home are shown in brackets.
  3. = Number of improvements
  4. 0 = Number of results in the buffer
  5. + = Number of results that led to a deterioration of the STV.
  6. n.a. = Rounds not affecting the handicap that were transferred to the master sheet.

;-) You can also use this function to determine the 10 players who have improved the most in the past year. With the separate function Player of the year you can also make even more detailed enquiries.

The round statistics also provide you with the 10 players who have played the most handicap-effective competitions. This is listed at the end of the statistics. You will see both the number of handicap tournaments played internally and the number of handicap tournaments played externally

With Participant lists you also have the option of determining the number of tournaments played internally for all members.

As is the case in many places in PC CADDIE, you can also analyse the round statistics for groups of people (seniors, ladies, men, etc.). If all options are activated, the round statistics are printed before the statistics, in which the number of matches and the change in handicap can be seen for each individual player.

If you only want the statistics, deactivate Print complete list.

If you tick the Calculate result in buffer as 0 the results that are in the buffer are included in the 0 column. This allows you to create a list in which the exact number of deteriorations (without buffer results) is displayed.
