• For security reasons, not only the magnetic stripe but also the chip in the card has been read with cardware since around 2010.
• Only pinpads that can do this can be used with Cardware.
• Version 4.38 is required.
• The old version must be uninstalled. The new version must then be installed.
• The latest version is available on the Transact page, but can also be downloaded from PC CADDIE.
