The user interface of our customer terminals was completely redesigned in 2018.

The menu was replaced by a „one-way“ icon/button menu navigation for easy, user-friendly use. On the start screen, the user will find the main menu for the terminal functions for tee times, golf instructors, green fees, tournaments and card credit. By clicking on the selection, the customer is guided along the path - if necessary via a submenu - to the conclusion. For a different selection, the customer returns to the start menu (back button), exits or cancels or uses the function change via the footer menu.

In response to several requests, we have programmed the system so that customers can now book a tee time, a range fee or a trial lesson without identification.

To do this, a person with the abbreviation ssdg must be created ssdg ⇒ Self Service Dummy Guest. The green fees are booked to this person. The name entered there will then also be displayed in the terminal for bookings.

There are now two new menu items under Timetable/Settings/Configure self-service terminal: „Guest booking“ and „with article selection“.

With „…with article selection“ the green fees are suggested which are stored under „Greenfee A“. „Guest booking“ activates the following menu item:

If only this menu item is ticked, then the terminal directly accesses the item that is set for a guest booking and no item selection appears.

If the item selection box is also ticked, this window will appear depending on the settings for the various locations.

However, the terminal does not differentiate in the item selection whether it only displays the 9-hole or 18-hole items. But it is still important, as with this step the bookings are entered in the timetable for either 9 or 18 holes.

You then simply select the desired item. The whole thing is based a little on trust, whether the guest really books the correct article for him. However, a receipt is printed with the item name so that the guest can be asked to show the receipt later.

There are two different types of booking for guest bookings without identification: If you book via the „Book start times“ button, the booking is noted in the timetable. However, if you book via the „Book green fee“ button, you should think of it like a ticket machine. You buy an item (range fee, green fee, pro hour etc.) which is then NOT entered in the timetable.
