HCP management

In Austria, the handicap is managed centrally on the ÖGV intranet (GOLF.AT). Via the interface to GOLF.AT, members and competition data can be transferred directly to GOLF.AT and the current handicaps of golfers can be queried.

PRP (registered private rounds) are processed directly in the GOLF.AT Admin in Austria. They can also be sent from PC CADDIE.

PE players must be further differentiated:
Only when the player has completed the basic skills and rules test is he or she transferred to PCCADDIE by the ÖGV with PR or STV -54 (player query).
And only if the tournament organising club is the player's training club (regardless of whether the player is a member or not). player is a member or not).
If not all criteria criteria are not met, the player will still be delivered with -59 (=PE) and will NOT be allowed to play in the tournament.

According to the ÖGV, a competition must consist of at least 3 players. You can therefore enter 3 PR players in a competition. If there are only 1 or 2 PR players, the results must be entered directly on golf.at.

In the transition phase to the WHS (World Handicap System from 2021), the ÖGV has decided that in 2020 all handicap tournaments and EDS rounds will be scored WITHOUT a possible HCP deterioration - i.e. „Reduction Only“.

About Handicaps/all member handicaps from GOLF.AT you can load the current handicaps of your members.

With the introduction of the WHS (World Handicap System), the function „Load all master sheets from GOLF-AT“ is no longer available. According to the ÖGV, this is no longer possible with the changeover to the WHS.

If you click in PC CADDIE on Settings/Load club data from GOLF.AT in PC CADDIE, all clubs available on GOLF.AT are loaded (without course data). The clubs are then available to you at the home clubs and you can use them for guest players. If there are two clubs available for download at GOLF.AT, please always select the club with the national flag if it exists.

After loading the course data, please check the data meticulously. If you discover any errors, you can change them manually. Please also inform the ÖGV of the corrections so that the data can be updated accordingly by the association.

The ÖGV plans to realise this with the ÖGV app in the course of the 2021 season. It is planned that PC CADDIE will then receive the hole results from the ÖGV. This saves you having to type in the hole results in the competitions. The documentation will be expanded in due course.

• With the introduction of the WHS, it will no longer be possible to display the players' new handicap on the results lists of the competitions.
  
• The new handicaps can only be calculated on the ÖGV server. This can take from 15 minutes to several hours according to the ÖGV!
  
• The stableford points will be displayed on the results lists with the WHS as before, as well as the „Adjusted Gross Score“ and possibly also the „Score Differential“ (as no PCC calculation is provided for in Austria).

In addition there are:
* 9 holes of counting play
* Counting game with maximum score - You will find the settings analogue in the „finished game forms“ for Austria.
* Private rounds can also be played as a single competition if you want to play several private rounds in a row.

* 18-hole singles - against par
* 9 holes single - against par
